Document Converter & Tools

Convert and optimize office documents effortlessly with our server-side document converter. Powered by an enterprise LibreOffice rendering engine, our platform handles standard word processing files, spreadsheets, and presentation slide decks. Whether converting legacy DOC files to modern DOCX, turning spreadsheets into accessible PDFs, or extracting slides into image archives, files are processed accurately without software licensing hurdles.

Word & Text Document Conversions

Convert between DOCX, legacy DOC, OpenDocument Text (ODT), Rich Text (RTF), plain text, and PDF format.

Spreadsheet Transformations

Convert Excel XLSX and OpenDocument Spreadsheet (ODS) workbooks to PDF, modern XLSX, or comma-separated CSV text.

Slide Presentations & Plain Text

Export PowerPoint slides as image archives or transform unformatted plain text into portable PDF documents.

LibreOffice Processing Standards and Layout Fidelity

Our conversion architecture utilizes headless LibreOffice in an isolated server environment to parse and render complex document schemas. While standard formatting, paragraphs, tables, and standard bullet hierarchies translate faithfully, highly intricate layouts relying on proprietary desktop fonts may display subtle layout differences if those specific typefaces are absent on the Linux host.

When transforming multi-page workbooks using our XLSX to CSV exporter, please note that standard CSV specifications support only a single tabular grid. Consequently, the tool exports the first worksheet tab. To convert subsequent sheets, arrange your primary data on the opening tab before uploading.

Document Compression Principles and Slide Caps

Document compression focuses on recompressing embedded graphics and media inside office archives. Written text, tabular formulas, and typography vectors cannot be reduced further because they already occupy minimal storage. When converting presentations via our PowerPoint to PNG utility, slide export is capped at the first 50 slides to ensure prompt processing and reliable ZIP generation.
